Herbelin watches are available in Alsace, located in the Grand Est region of France, through its main distributor in the Haut-Rhin department, the Bijouterie du Bollwerk in Mulhouse , the only Herbelin boutique as far north as Strasbourg. The second Herbelin point of sale in France, the Bijouterie du Bollwerk in Belfort, is also a distributor for the brand in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region and the only Herbelin boutique as far north as Besançon.
Herbelin watches are designed, conceived, assembled, regulated, and inspected in the Herbelin workshops in Charquemont, in the Haut-Doubs region of France, just a few kilometers from the Swiss border.
Herbelin watches are first and foremost a family story in France, driven since 1947 by a passion for French watchmaking. Initially known as Impec, they became Michel Herbelin in the 1960s, and finally Herbelin in 2022. Steeped in the traditions of a traditional, family-owned, and independent French watchmaking house, Herbelin watches cultivate understated elegance and refinement—a sure value in watchmaking at a "Made in France" price, perfect for any occasion. Herbelin distinguishes itself through its exacting standards, independence, humanity, and elegance—values that have made it an exception in the French watch market for three generations.
In the 1980s, Herbelin's sons took over and created a new collection of Herbelin watches: the Newport Yacht Club, with a design inspired by the portholes of ocean liners. Other collections were also created, such as Odyssée and Antarès.
Herbelin watches are made in France and equipped with Swiss movements, either mechanical or quartz, from ETA, Sellita, and Ronda, a family business that has been operating for three generations.
