As part of its long-standing partnership with World Rugby™, TUDOR is the Official Timekeeper of the Rugby World Cup 2023™, which will be held from September 8 to October 28 in France.

TUDOR is the Official Timekeeper of the 48 matches that will be played by 20 teams at nine venues in nine different cities. The Rugby World Cup 2023™ takes place in the year that the sport celebrates the 200th anniversary of its creation, attributed to William Webb Ellis, a young student at Rugby School who gave his name to the game.

Rugby is an uncompromising sport that places audacity at the heart of its values, which perfectly reflects the mindset that has driven the watch brand since its creation.

With 30 players battling intensely on the field to score a try, rugby is the quintessential team sport. A blend of speed, power, and daring, it demands true cohesion. Against increasingly well-organized defenses, direct contact isn't always the best approach, hence the importance of developing a more fluid and unpredictable style. Although the sport has greatly increased in popularity over the last twenty years, it has lost none of its authenticity. From the respect shown to the opponent and the referee on and off the field, rugby has maintained its team spirit and camaraderie.

It is the noble values and sense of daring conveyed by this sport, reflected in TUDOR 's uncompromising stance since 1926, that led the Swiss brand to partner with World Rugby™ in 2017 as part of its #BornToDare campaign. In addition to the Men's and Women's Rugby™ 15s Cups and the World Sevens Cup, TUDOR supports the annual Under-20 Championship, which provides a springboard for the sport's rising stars.

TUDOR has also partnered with the World Rugby Awards, which annually recognize the best teams, players, and match officials of the season. Finally, TUDOR supports the Rugby Hall of Fame – an institution based in Rugby, UK, the city where the sport originated in the 1820s – to honor those who have contributed to the game's popularity.
