The story of the Riviera

The history of Baume & Mercier begins in 1830. Brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume opened a watchmaking shop in Les Bois in the Swiss Jura.

Born in 1973watch Riviera revives the spirit of an inspiring era in watchmaking this year. Here it is in 2021 in its authentic version: a steel case generously sized dodecagonal bezel secured with four screws, an integrated interchangeable steel bracelet, and the prestigious Baumatic manufacture caliber– the Riviera 10616is the Swiss watch quintessential original design remains, as does the desire to adapt to the times.
