The story of the Riviera collection

The history of Baume & Mercier begins in 1830.The brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume opened a watchmaking shop in Les Bois in the Swiss Jura.

' company Baume Brothers quickly grew in size and, true to its motto "Leave nothing to chance, only manufacture watches of the highest quality", it forged a fine reputation through the creation of exceptional pieces incorporating cutting-edge innovations.

Born in 1973watch Riviera revives the spirit of an inspiring era in watchmaking this year. Here it is in 2021 in its authentic version: a steel case generously sized dodecagonal bezel secured with four screws, an integrated interchangeable steel bracelet, and the prestigious Baumatic manufacture caliber– the Riviera 10616is the quintessential Swiss watch. The original design is still there, as is the desire to adapt to the times.
