The Cosmograph Daytona is equipped with the calibre 4130, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. It boasts a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The chronograph function relies on a reduced number of components, further enhancing the movement's reliability. It is activated by a column-wheel mechanism with a vertical clutch, enabling instantaneous and extremely precise starting.
