The Black Bay collection is the modern incarnation of Tudor 's iconic 1954 Submariner . The first in a long line of dive watches, ergonomic, legible, precise, and robust, it perfectly embodied the approach formulated by American architect Louis Sullivan, according to which the form of an object should follow its function. It also laid the aesthetic and technical foundations of the ideal dive watch: a simple, functional, and reliable tool.
This collection currently includes more than a dozen variations. Some pay homage to legendary watches of the past, while others reinvent the archetype in a completely new way.
Tudor offers the watchmaking world a collection of iconic, affordable timepieces, driven by remarkable design.
